Mosaic Extravaganza, sponsored by the Pagosa Springs Arts Council

Thursday, Sept. 19, 6-9pm

Join us for the Pagosa Springs Arts Council Mosaic Project, “Building Community through Art”. This project will provide free 6 X 6 blank canvases for area artists and community members to create their own unique piece of art. We will then collect, assemble and exhibit the canvases into one large mosaic. This display will be at a few locations in town followed by a reception at the Pagosa Springs Arts Council in August where we will disassemble the mosaic. Purchase a ticket and get entered to win a canvas you can take home that night!

For a $35 donation (raffle ticket) you can join “Building Community Through Art” and receive one of these masterpieces to start or add to your own                                                                          art collection.

5K Color Run/Walk, Hosted by Rise Above Violence

Saturday September 21st, 8am

Brilliant colors will be flying at Pagosa’s iconic 5K Color Run. As color runners, and walkers, venture out on the course, colorful balloons will be filling the skies along the entire run route. Iconic has now turned stunning with runners and ballooners joining in on a color-filled adventure.

Color Run/Walk athletes will be transformed into a running rainbow as you run through vibrant colors at each color station you pass. Not a runner, no problem! You can walk, skip, hop, or roll your way to the finish line! This un-timed, non-competitive event is for everyone – from young to the young at heart, you’re going to LOVE it! Add some color to your life and come out for a colorful good time!

Come get Colorful for a Cause!  The color run supports Rise Above Violence; a 502(c)3 non-profit organization serving victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
