Colorfest 2018

The Chamber of Commerce is pleased to sponsor this great event! The weekend is full of fun activities, beginning with the Wine & Food Festival on Friday night, the Music & Micro Brew Festival on Saturday, and the mass balloon ascensions on both Saturday and Sunday morning. The fun and festivities continue all weekend!

Passport to Pagosa Wine & Food Festival

Friday, September 14th, 6 p.m.-9 p.m.

Sample Wines from around the world and enjoy delectable food from local restaurants, while listening to incredible live music filling the night air.  (21 & over event) $45 per person including a souvenir glass and tasting.
 

Music & Micro Brew Festival 

Saturday, September 15th, 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Breweries from throughout Colorado and Northern New Mexico compete for “Peoples Choice” along with “Brewers Choice” awards in this event.

Enjoy tasting some unique new brews while listening to great live music all day long in Town Park/Athletic Field. Food vendors and kid’s activities make this a day for the whole family. As the sun sets we will be surrounded by hot air balloons for the annual “night glow.”

$10 general admission/$25 with a souvenir glass and beer tasting.   

Mass Balloon AscensionBalloon Fest Over Springs_Pagosa

Saturday and Sunday, September 15th & 16th (approximately 8 a.m.)

Over 30 balloons fill the sky each morning for the mass balloon ascension! On Saturday morning, watch them lift off from downtown Pagosa Springs, and on Sunday, see them float over the Pagosa Lakes area and the Pagosa Springs Golf Club during the morning hours.

 

Breakfast With Balloons

Saturday morning, Sept 157:30 to 9:30 am.

The Geothermal Greenhouse Partnership is hosting the 3rd Annual Colorfest Breakfast with Balloons at their site on the San Juan River at 5th Street.  Attendees will enjoy an exceptional gourmet breakfast and champagne with a perfect view of the spectacular Colorfest balloons ascension.  The site will be contained for breakfast-goers who will be entertained with relaxing music by world-class saxophonist Bob Hemenger.  Guests are asked to bring folding chairs, blankets, cameras, and binoculars.

5K Color Run/Walk

Brilliant colors will be flying at Pagosa’s iconic 5K ColorFest Color Run/Walk that begins at 8am on Saturday morning, September 15th. As color runners, and walkers, venture out on the course, colorful balloons will be filling the skies along the entire run route. This race is a fundraiser hosted by Rise Above Violence.
