Park 2 Park Arts and Crafts Festival

July4th-7th 11am-7pm     

The Pagosa Springs Chamber hosts the Park 2 Park Arts & Crafts Festival each year during the July 4th weekend. Enjoy arts and crafts vendors from all over the region.  Shop individual booths and find just the right gifts to start your Christmas shopping early. The 4th of July Parade

July 4th-10:00am

Hosted by the Pagosa Springs Rotary, locals and visitors alike line main street in downtown Pagosa Springs to watch the floats pass by. Participants will be depicting what patriotism means to them as they decorate their floats and dress themselves in the true red, white, and blue. Come and watch the always exciting, always entertaining Pagosa Springs Rotary 4th of July Parade! Entries are judged in 4 different categories. 

 

Red Ryder Roundup Rodeo

Come out to the 69th Annual Red Ryder Roundup Rodeo (Dates TBD), featuring cowboys and cowgirls from various states competing for prizes and prize money in this sanctioned rodeo series. Mutton Bustin’, cow milking contest, specialty acts and other fun events will perform daily. Rodeo lasts about 2.5 hours. Held at the Western Heritage Event Center Arena & Grounds.  Tickets are available at Goodman’s Dept. Store and Home Again and box seating by calling (970) 264-5000.

 

Town Park Carnival

The downtown carnival is a treat over the July 4th weekend, with rides for the whole family, games, and plenty of food!  A portion of the carnival’s proceeds go to the Parks & Rec Department to help our kids and adults programs! The carnival opens (Dates TBD).

 

 

July 4th Fireworks

The 4th of July would not be the 4th without fireworks, and Pagosa Springs puts on quite a display, starting around dark at the Pagosa Springs High School Sports Complex. Picnickers are encouraged, but alcoholic is not permitted on school grounds. The fireworks will be launched from 8th Street at the High School but can be viewed from almost anywhere in downtown Pagosa Springs
