To assist the members of our business community with development opportunities through resources, advocacy, services and education.
Having been incorporated in July of 1976, the Pagosa Springs Chamber of Commerce is currently celebrating its 40th year of serving Pagosa Springs and surrounding communities. The original home of the chamber was a small log cabin located in Town Park on Hermosa Street. Through the generosity of the Town of Pagosa Springs and vision of Archuleta County, the Chamber of Commerce also created a beautiful Visitor Center modeled after the original hot springs bath house and is situated on the banks of the San Juan River which flows through the center of town. The building still houses both entities and its extensive range of literature and services makes it a one-stop shop for residents and visitors alike.
The Chamber of Commerce is a member based organization that promotes and supports the local community through our various educational programs, resource and referral system, economic gardening and special event promotions. With over 500 members, we are known for consistently having one of the highest per capita memberships in the state of Colorado, an honorable achievement for a small mountain community.
The Pagosa Springs Chamber continues to change with times staying current with technology including our mobile website, social media, and educational opportunities for our businesses. Our popular networking events such as the Business After Hours, Business Bites luncheons, or Maximizing Your Membership sessions are a great way to stay current with Pagosa activities and promote and expand your business. See how the chamber can help you grow your business, stay connected to the community or help you stay busy in Pagosa through our active schedule and complete Calendar of Events.
